Word play...

"When I use a word," Humpty Dumpty said,
in a rather scornful tone, "it means just what I choose it to mean-neither more nor less."
"The question is," said Alice, "whether you
can make words mean so many different things."
"The question is," said Humpty Dumpty,
"which is to be master-that's all."

All:

This little post, as do many of my other posts, means absolutely nothing significant..:)I was thinking that two people misunderstand so much during conversations. We believe what we want to believe. i.e. we take to be the "master" whichever version of the truth we find convenient..:)
make sense?

Agnibarathi,
Thanks for the link. I actually ran into this in the most unlikely of places. I was reading "Linux Kernel Internals" and on the cover of that book, there's this quote.
Any guesses as to what the authors were hinting at??

@Subha - Actually, it is quite common for computer books these days to have a quote from Alice in Wonderland or Hitchhiker's Guide. I believe the book that you were reading was possibly a O'Reilly publication, most of them have it...in fact even I have adopted this style in my latest posts on offnoimportance. ;) My possible guess is that the author is hinting at different kernels, if you can equate words to commands and check the last line - 'which is to be master - that's all'!
