A warm hearth. Cozy Comforts. Caring friends. Loving parents. Mirthful entertainment. Known settings. Familiar faces. Well-worn laugh lines. Predictable events. Recognizable patterns. A charmed life. Flash of white lightning. A dark knight on a stormy horizon. Fascinating. Mysterious. A novelty. Temptation of the unknown. A world of choices.
Desire is born.

Good for you. When I read this Blog, I thought you were in Hangover!
~Vasu
I just see 2 choices. One is stay inside in your comforts, other is go and find out what the heck is going on ?
Surely desire is born.
The question is how many times and when will you step outside?

Wonderful lines, but I don't get it.! Is it Spring time yet?
I try to imagine a visual for each of those. Oru nalla ad film pannalaam.
Desire is born - nalla caption.
Nice transition from what u've been experiencing in life till now to what u want to experience in future. Inspired by Ramya's blog on marriage yesterday? :).

People,
To all those confused by my poor writing, I apologize...:) What I wanted to say was that even though one might have a contented life with all comforts and pleasures, the temptation of the unknown; the wish to explore the world; the desire to try out new things is inherent in humans. And it will always have a powerful lure.
My poor powers of expression have made the translation of my thoughts into writing go awry!!
Kamal,
you're so right! How many times are we willing to step outside our comfort zone and try something new?!!! As far as I go, I don't know if I have the industry to do it often...:) I am lazy.
Prabhu Karthik, thanks.
Venkitu sir, kuzhappalukku varundhugiren...:)
KP, I think you kind of got what I was trying to say..but I wasn't talking just of marriage/relationships etc...:)
I get reminded of Shawshank Redemption when I read your post. We get sucked into our comfort zones or get "institutionalized". Some of us more than others !
Nice cryptic post ! :)
Dinesh,
I am glad if you got my meaning..:) Didn't mean for it to be so cryptic but I deliberately didn't write complete sentences...People fill in the "gaps" as they interpret. I am pretty sure lots of different people interpreted this post in different ways..so, what did you think? (aside from the fact that you thought I'd gone crazy...:))
I just didn't get why it was named "Gaps-1", but yeah now I get it.
Enjoyed this one.
-vv
Nice. You have done what other writers often fail to do - give the reader an opportunity to fill in the gaps, surprising how one trail of thought can lead to varied interpretations.
good one subha!
kalakkite as usual :)
VV, RS, Prabhu,
Thanks!

Subha
Once the desire is born there comes fear associated with it.
Our life flip flops fear and desire.
You will have a desire and will fear whether it will happen. once it does happen you will have an other desire and again fear for it to happen. If it doesn't happen your fear now have come true and you wont still stop there you will have an other alternate desire. This cycle of fear and desire will end only when our life ends.
Amen
